Samsung Electronics has launched its 32-inch Color E-Paper (model EM32DX) globally, adding to its range of energy-efficient digital signage. Using digital ink technology, the display offers low power use, clear visibility, and a light build—making it a sustainable and versatile option for businesses.
The E-Paper uses 0.00W when showing static content. With a fully charged built-in battery, it can be used and placed without needing a power connection. Even during content updates, it consumes much less power than traditional digital signage, helping lower energy costs.
The display features QHD resolution and uses Samsung’s color imaging algorithm to improve color accuracy and readability. This enhances image edges and produces smoother, more vivid colors, creating a look similar to paper posters and retail displays. For businesses, it offers an easy shift from print to digital signage.
The display has a slim design that can be placed on walls, tables, or ceilings using included hanging accessories. With two USB-C ports, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and 8GB of internal storage, the display allows businesses to manage content easily and integrate it into various setups.
As part of the company’s sustainability efforts, the Color E-Paper uses a rear cover made from 55% recycled plastic and comes in fully paper-based packaging, helping to reduce environmental impact.
